Uprising - Muse

Prof. Yang ever asked us to guess the song to the lyrics in one of our classes. Little did I know that it is such a powerful song especially in times like this.

"They will not force us,
They will stop degrading us,
They will not control us,
We will be victorious"

Today, I learnt how to appreciate the lyrics and the meaning behind it. In a full context, it is actually about the government.

But in a government, there will always be more little governments. I am in one of those little ones.

Today, I know it will be a good day for all of us. When you know you are right, and you stand up and fight for your own point of view, and you know you've won the battle, that is one of the best feelings ever in the entire universe.

Today, I feel that we are victorious.
